Located opposite Genova Principe Train Station, the Continental is a restored Art Nouveau hotel overlooking the city. It offers elegant rooms with parquet floors, free WiFi, and a large breakfast buffet.

Very pleasant hotel with comfortable rooms, good breakfast & easy walking distance to historic center.
Great location for visiting Genoa, minutes from train station yet quiet. Helpful, pleasant staff, comfortable room w/nice bathroom. Breakfast had good selection of hot/cold foods.

Exceptional
We were upgraded to the Grand Hotel Savoia, the sister hotel. Everything was immaculate. The breakfast was outstanding. Excellent hotel. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The location was perfect....so close to the train station. The bed was comfortable, very relaxing. Would stay again and definitely recommend the hotel.

Convenient, clean and economical hotel in good location
The Double Room was ample for our 1 night stay. We requested a quiet room, knowing we were on a busy street near the train station. Our request was accommodated. No view to speak of, but quiet was our priority. Staff reached out to verify our arrival time, which they confirmed and accommodated. Very convenient location (you can see the train station entrance from the hotel entrance) and there were food options nearby. Given the proximity to the train station and situated next to the Genoa University campus, this is a bustling area. We loved the old-fashioned elevator! Note...one does have to go up a few steps to enter the hotel, and a few more to arrive at the reception area. Room was nicely decorated with convenient updates. The staff was pleasant. This hotel is connected to the Grand Hotel Savoia, which is very elegant and has a rooftop bar worth check out. Restaurants are located at both hotels, but we ate elsewhere while in other areas of the city.
Bathroom door was a little tricky to close...needed to be careful to keep sliding mechanism on track.
